Obituary

MRS. VICTORIA KATHLEEN COOPER BAYLESS, 90, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her home in Memphis, Tennessee, following a long illness. She was born in Gallatin County, Illinois and she was a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin Baylor, followed by Engineering, Science, and Defense Training from the School of Engineering at Texas A&M University. She worked as a cartographer for Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas and Magnolia Oil Company in Dallas, Texas during World War II. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hope, Arkansas. She was an artist, an avid bridge player and a reader. She was the devoted wife of Gordon Harrison Bayless for 64 years. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HER DAUGHTER: Becky Bayless of Memphis, Tennessee, and a niece and nephew of Dallas, Texas. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010, Macedonia Cemetery, with Rev. Phil McLarty officiating. Burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas.
