Mrs. Vivian Ammons, age 91 of Prescott , Arkansas passed away, Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Prescott . She was born September 12, 1925 in Caney, Arkansas to W.J. and Rebecca Dora Hicks Green. Mrs. Ammons was a home maker and a lifetime member of Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott . Mrs. Ammons is preceded in death by her parents W.J. and Dora Hicks Green, her husband of 74 years, Mr. William "Red" Ammons, who passed away on July 29, 2016, a son; William Herschel Ammons,  by three brother and four sisters and a grandson; William Douglas Ammons.

Survivors include; son, James Ammons, wife Judy of Prescott, daughter; Mary Ann Elledge of Blevins, a brother; Earl Green, wife, Jo Ann of Greers Ferry, Arkansas , sister; Patsy Green Richardson of Camden, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a special family friend, Ted Bonner.

Funeral service, 2:00pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home, with visitation one hour before the service 1196 Hwy 371 West Prescott, AR.  Bro.
