It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wallace Decker Elliott Jr, age 62, on December 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 24, 1962, to Wallace and Carolyn Elliott.
He graduated from Arkanasas High School in 1980 and went to college in Fayetteville, AR, where he lived for 25 yrs before coming back to Texarkana to be with his family. Wallace loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but his true passion was cooking. "He was always eager to tell you when you cooked something wrong". He lived his life to the fullest and will always be in our hearts. He truly loved his family and friends. He was an active member working with Church Under the Bridge and Mission Texarkana.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents W.K and Grace Elliott, Thomas and Myrtle Goller, and dad Wallace (Smokey) Elliott.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn Elliott of Texarkana, Sister Wendy Sanders of Texarkana, Brothers Stephen Elliott of Texarkana and Todd Elliott (Bri) of Hot Springs, Sister Mary Hickerson (Brent) of Mounds, OK, nieces and nephews Lauren Hillery (Justin) of Prescott, Sarah Cross (Todd) of Rosston, Madison Tuttle (Dave) of Hope, Logan Hickerson (Hannah) of Mounds, OK, Kyleigh and Bella Hickerson of Mounds, OK, and a good number of great nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Church Under the Bridge or the Mission Texarkana in memory of Wallace.
He will forever be in our hearts "Gone but never forgotten".
In the hearts of those who loved you, as you were you will always be, treasured forever in our memory.
The family will have a private service in his memory at a later date.
