Mr. Walter "Walt" Doege, age 89, of Emmet, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at his home. Walt was born on June 13, 1936, in Grand Rapids Michigan. He was a maintenance technician at many different companies throughout his career. As a founding member of Rafter J Cowboy Church, he loved his church family and served the Lord in many ways. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Doege; daughter, Ginger Metcalf; son, Walter "Ed" Doege Jr.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

No visitation is scheduled.
