Mrs. Wanda "Nee Nee" Sinclair McCorkle, age 78, of Hope, passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2014, at her home. She was born on January 22, 1935, in Hope, to Jesse and Louise Ross Sinclair. She was a retired bookkeeper at Bruner Ivory Handle Mill and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope. She loved her children and was a true giver to everyone that asked. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by three sons, Randon Lee McCorkle of Hope, Gary Don McCorkle of Taylor, Arkansas, and Mark Alan McCorkle and wife Katherine of Malvern, a sister, Shirley Thornton and husband Charles of Hope, ten grandchildren, Mason McCorkle, Kaitlyn McCorkle, Branson Malmborg, Anastasia McCorkle, Madison Anne McCorkle, Martin Alan McCorkle, Morgan Ailene McCorkle, Mark Alexander McCorkle, Carter Warren McCorkle and Elise Klaire McCorkle, a niece, Lynn Thornton Smith, a nephew, Rodney Thornton, great niece, Jalyn Barba, great nephews, Chance Thornton, Daniel Smith and John Paul Smith, a special friend Dusty O'Keefe, numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 3, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mrs. McCorkle will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 4, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with Bro. Charles Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope.
