MRS. WANDA JEAN COX SHAW , 74, Hope, Ark., passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on August 18, 1933 in Patmos, Ark., to Albert Glendon Powell and Bessie Pearl Cox Powell. She was a retired bookkeeper; former employee of Diamond Field Resources and Hempstead County Memorial Hospital and Co-Owner of Hunter Enterprises of Hope. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hope, Ark. and the Fidelis Sunday School Class; held a black belt in Judo; loved to golf, swim, and bowl; former member of the B&P.W. of Hope; former member Hope Baseball Association and their Concession Stand; and Eastern Star of Hope. She was a good wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and will be missed dearly. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her faithful and loving husband: (of almost 52 Yrs) Wayne Shaw, Hope, Ark. One Son: Steve Shaw, Austin, Tex. One Daughter: Sherry Shaw Felts, Stuttgart, Ark. Three Grandchildren: Jennifer Felts, Stuttgart, Ark. Meredith Felts, Stuttgart, Ark. Hunter Shaw, Austin, Tex.AND A HOST OF OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2008, at First United Methodist Church, Hope, Ark., with Rev. Kenneth Bobo and Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating. Burial will follow in Betts Cemetery, Hope, Ark. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Ark.
