Mr. Wayne Banks, 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Banks was born April 20, 1938 in Sheridan, Arkansas to Harvey and Pearl Hadens Banks. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw and he served in the United States Army. He retired as the owner/operator of Banks Exxon/Mobil. His favorite hobby was playing softball. Mr. Banks is preceded in death by his parents; Harvey and Pearl Banks, his wife, Brenda Carlton Banks, two brothers; Arthur Lee and Denny Banks, and two sisters; Geraldine Jolly and Betty Osborn. Survivors include; three sons; Larry Wayne Banks, Timmy Banks, Johnny Banks, one sister, Pat Rhodes of Little Rock, Arkansas, five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends. Visitation is 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Union Baptist Church in Bodcaw with Bro.
