Obituary

Mr. William Robert "Billy" Campbell, age 77 of Blevins, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Campbell was born Friday, October 13, 1933 in Blevins, Arkansas to Elvin and Lula Merle Spears Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a US Navy Veteran, a Baptist, and a retired Supervisor of the Broiler Operation for Tyson Poultry. He started his poultry career with the Cornbelt Hatcheries. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and had many stories to share. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Linda Watson Campbell of Blevins; his son, Kyle Campbell and Rosie of Blevins; his daughter, Pamela Herring and Joe Gray of Hope; his sister, Gwen Allen of Lufkin, Texas; his grand-daughter, Lacey Begnaud of Conway, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews and friends. The Campbell Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, August 19, 2011 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Campbell will be 10:00am, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins, with Bro. Jerry Hill and Bro. Bobby Powers officiating. Burial to follow in Marlbrook Cemetery by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home.
