Mr. William E. Bud Gourley, age 77, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at John McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Laneburg, Arkansas on April 5, 1933, to Earl Newton and Della Richardson Gourley. He was retired employee of Nevada County, a farmer, carpenter, a Baptist, a Mason and member of The Prescott Lodge #80 and a veteran of Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son William Bruce Gourley, one sister Maxine McKamie and one grandson Tyler Gourley. His Survivors Include His wife (of 53 years) Virginia Ann Nielsen Gourley, Prescott, Arkansas, Two Sons: Jack Gourley and Kay, Farmington, Arkansas; Wayne Gourley and Christy, Prescott, Arkansas. One Daughter: Judy Ledbetter and Roger, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Six Sisters: Karen Ann NeNeman, Lanesberry, Minnesota; Betty Joe Bailey, Hope, Arkansas; Ada Faye Tompkins, Prescott, Arkansas; Vada Jean Ward, Nashville, Arkansas; Margaret Ann Cornelius, Hope, Arkansas and Linda Grant, Prescott, Arkansas. Eight Grandchildren: Jake Gourley, Amy Gourley, Dusty Gourley, Ashley Gourley, Kim Ledbetter, Beth Ledbetter, Taylor Gourley, and Grason Gourley. And other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Arkansas, with Rev. Perry Johnson officiating.
