Obituary

Mr. William "Bill" Cassin, age 91 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Cassin was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on June 9, 1926.  He was of the Christian faith, and a retired U. S. Navy Veteran of 22 years, serving in the Pacific during World War II and serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the local VFW in Hope, member of the American Legion of Hope and the Elks Lodge in Texarkana. He is preceded in death by his mother; Justine Bamber Cassin, and his wife, Mildred Cassin.

Survivors include his two sons; Samuel Cassin and wife, Candy of Hope, and son, Michael Cassin and wife, Charlotte of Leesville, Louisiana, two daughters; Cambra Cassin of Roswell, New Mexico and Amelia Aaron, husband Ronnie of Hope, eight grandchildren: Alicia Reed, Zeb Aaron, Colby Aaron, Krystal Schoonover, Christin Gray, Matthew Cassin, Devon Cassin and Megan Cassin, twelve great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope.

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Huckabee Cemetery at Spring Hill with full military honors.  Arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
