Mr. William Elvie "Bud" Adams, Sr. age 74 of Hope went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2017 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia, Arkansas. Bud was born on December 30, 1942 to Edward and Millie Adaline Adams in Powers, Arkansas. He was a lifelong member of the Hope community and a longtime member of Old Washington Baptist Church.  Bud will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson William "Billy" Adams.

Bud is survived by his wife of 57 years Frances Sanders Adams of Hope, children Bill Adams, Jeff Adams and wife Jodie and Vickie Terry Adams all of Hope; sisters Nina Hill husband Jim, Elaine Hawley husband Bill; brothers Leroy Adams wife Brenda, Raymond Adams wife Nancy, Larry Adams, Tommy Adams wife Betty, Dennis Adams wife Nita, and Mike Adams; step-brother Johnnie Crider and step-sister Judy Pierce; grandchildren David Adams wife Whitney, Kristen Guerrero husband Jacob, Ivy Terry, Tyler Adams, Josh Hill wife Sharon, and Ray Hill wife Lindsay; three great-grandchildren Adalyn Adams, Dustin Guerrero and Aurora Guerrero and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service, 10:00am on Friday, November 17, 2017 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Dale officiating.
