William Rex Hildebrand, age 90, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Mr. Hildebrand was born in his family home on February 12, 1936, in Bluff City, Arkansas, to his parents, Clyde and Doris Gillespie Hildebrand. He was a lifelong farmer and loved gardening. His family was his greatest joy; he loved them more than anything. He was a member of the Bluff City Church of Christ and also served as a Lineman in the US Army in Germany. He retired from GTE after more than 30 years. He retired a second time from the U.S. Postal service.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Hildebrand; four brothers, Bennie Hildebrand, Dwayne Hildebrand, Melvin Hildebrand, Larry Hildebrand; and one sister, Betty Henry.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Stacy Hildebrand and his wife Jennifer; daughter,  Tonya Hildebrand; five grandchildren, Michael Inscore, Timbrel Cheevers, Alexis Inscore, Dakota Hildebrand, Warner Hildebrand; three great grandchildren, Reeselynn, Ellie Mae, Adah May; one brother, David Hildebrand and his wife Pam; and one sister, Phyllis Mann and her husband Kenny.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bluff City Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Prescott, Ben Brazzel, Director.
