William Michael (Mike/Bill) Rankin, age 54, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on October 24, 2013. He was born July 18, 1959, to James and Mary Ida Rankin in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by daughter, Marci Rankin of Crossett; maternal grandparents, Arlis and Jessie Mae Adams of Hope, and paternal grandparents, Thurston and Muriel Rankin of Eudora. He is survived by son, Matthew Rankin and wife Samantha and their daughters, Abigail and Gabriella; parents James and Mary Ida Rankin of Golden, Missouri; three sisters, Debbie Bonner and husband Mike, Patty Foster and husband Steve, Donna Wright and husband Ron; nephews and a niece. Bill was a lifelong member of Eudora Baptist Church. He graduated from Montrose Academy in Montrose, Arkansas, and attended Arkansas State University for a brief time. He was a security guard with Securitas, Inc. He loved wood carving, gardening, being outdoors and drawing. Graveside Service will be 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas, on November, 16, 2013, with the Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating.
