MR. WILLIAM P. BILL OLIVER, 59, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, Texas. He was born on December 15, 1948, in Prescott, Ark., to William James Red Oliver and Blanche Lee Smith Oliver. He was a self-employed logger and showed American Quarter Horses. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Prescott, Ark.; lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association; and member of the National Snaffle-Bit Association. He was preceded in death by his parents. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: ( of 30 years) Penelope Jane Penny Oliver, Prescott, Ark. One Son: William Dean Oliver, Prescott, Ark. Two Brothers: Terry C. Oliver, Prescott, Ark. James A. Jimmy Oliver, Prescott, Ark. And a Number of Nieces and Nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2008, at Central Baptist Church, Prescott, Ark., with Rev. Perry Johnson and Rev. Neal Ridling officiating.
