Mr. William Thompson, age 72 of Cross Roads, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home. Mr. Thompson was born January 18, 1943 in Quitman, Texas to Harvey and Buena Mae Albee Thompson. He was a retired window serviceman and of the Assembly God Faith. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Harvey Thompson and one sister Dorothy Keefer. Survivors include; his wife Judy Thompson, five sons; William Thompson Jr. of Aztec, New Mexico, Richard Vargas of Baytown, Texas, Victor Vargas his wife Stephanie of Grand Prairie, Texas, David Vargas of Desoto, Texas and Martin Vargas his wife Lana of Cross Roads, seven daughters; Tamra Hipp her husband Brandy of Rockwall, Texas, Dawn Vargas of Winnsboro, Texas, Angie Dickinson of Terrell, Texas Anna Stoud her husband Mickey of Aztec, New Mexico, Niomie Thompson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Elizabeth Cambron her husband Ray of Lampasas, Texas and Toni McCraine her husband Lynn of Dayton, Texas, three brothers; Gene Thompson his wife Peggy of Hope, Arkansas, R. A. Thompson of Mesquite, Texas and James Thompson of Hope, Arkansas, one sister; Wanda Keeton her Husband Jesse of Hope, Arkansas. Thirty-four grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, November 9,2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest. Graveside service is 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Westmoreland Cemetery in Cross Roads, Arkansas with Bro.
