Mrs. Willie May Prescott, 94 of Hope, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. Mrs. Prescott was born April 21, 1917 in Nevada County, Arkansas to S.M. and Flossie Crews Stevenson. Mrs. Prescott was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and listening to music. Mrs. Prescott was proceeded in death by her husbands, Howard May and Gordon Prescott; son Hershel May; stepsons John D. Prescott and Leon Prescott; brothers David, Don, and Daniel Stevenson; sisters Ethel Anderson, Beulah Janeway, and Louvell Osburn; and son-in-law Bobby Cobb. Mrs. Prescott is survived by daughter Darrie May Cobb of Hope, Arkansas; daughter-in-law Mary May of Hope, Arkansas; step daughter Carolyn McFadden & Jim of Ohio; step daughter-in-laws, Carolyn Prescott and Emily Prescott; grandchildren Donna Porter and Johnny, Mike Cobb, Tina Huckabee, Bill May and Robin, Kathy Huckabay and David, and Terry Ishmael, 16 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great-great grandchild. Visitation will be 6-8:00pm Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home Hope, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope. Burial to follow in Anderson Cemetery at Spring Hill, Arkansas. Bro.
