MRS. WILLIE MAE WOOD, 80, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008, at Prescott Manor Nursing Center, Prescott, Ark. She was born on June 23, 1927 in Hoxie, Ark., to Malvern Butler Elmore and Opal Ann Bettis Elmore. She was a homemaker, mother and former telephone switchboard operator. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Prescott, Ark. and a member of Redland Extension Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wood; by four brothers, Harold, Robert, Ralph and Ford Elmore;by one sister, Mary Elizabeth Southerland; and by one grandson, Christopher Michael Inscore. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Roy Wood and Eva, Gurdon, Ark. FOUR DAUGHTERS: Roxie Ann Reel and Sam, Prescott, Ark. Roberta Inscore and Wally, Prescott, Ark. Rolanda Linda Kisselburg and Virgle, Prescott, Ark. Vickey Hicks and James, Bodcaw, Ark.AND Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty-Eight Great-grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, Prescott, Ark., with Rev. Ricky Burke officiating.
